It took a number of tries to capture what I really loved about this song in recorded form. I ruined the loops I composed it with, and the first couple of attempts just lacked the energy of the original. This was the last song recorded. I took one last stab at it, and was prepared to scrap it if need be. I finally nailed what I wanted from the original piece, but then it seemed a little simple. I wrote the new bridge and got a little Math Rock type feel onto the album. That tied the whole thing together, and I love how the song ended up.
